23.12.08 It is encouraging to see how they take responsibility
Noetzoldt
  • Like every year we had a special gift for each child and this year they got a sweater. It is really a blessing for the children in the village. Two of the young people who are learning the guitar led for the first time the worship in the church services on Sunday. It is encouraging to see how they take responsibility.

23.12.08 Greater challenges coming our way
Muell
  • Lately, we notice greater challenges coming our way. And we don‘t mean the worldwide financial crisis first of all, though it makes us worry sometimes, because we‘re in the middle of a big buildingproject. We can only be amazed to see how GOD takes care of us. We don‘t have words enough to express our gratitude.

05.12.08 Hunger Period
Zwirner
  • The time of greatest needs is now, until February: People have no money to buy food – IF they have money there is NOT ENOUGH FOOD for all of them! That means a daily fight for survival. This time of the year is terrible, and this time even worse due to the bad harvest…. In addition the high prices.. The worldwide financial crisis hits hard here! We are longing for rain, for the new harvest…

05.12.08 Evangelistic Meetings
Njock
  • We have decided, together with another family, to open our homes for people who do not know Jesus and to invite them once a month for a family gettogether on a Saturday evening. We have had one which went very well, with 2 guests attending, even though we were quite disturbed by sickness and little accidents around the house just prior to the evening... Looks like this is bothering somebody. So we are looking forward to the next meeting!
