02.10.08 The Njock family let pictures speak |
- In France, September is the month, in which everything starts up again after the long summer break. After the national conference with YWAM France in August, which gave us a good orientation for working with this mission again, September meant for us as a family mainly getting to grips with the daily routine of school and work at the YWAM centre where a discipleship training school has started at the end of the month. We decided to let pictures speak this time, so that you can get an impression of where we are and what we do.

30.09.08 Investing in world-changers |
- Rich wasn’t supposed to work with the DTS originally, but because more students signed up than expected, his help was needed and here he is investing himself in a bunch of possible world-changers! Good thing he’s learned to be flexible and multi-talented (and –trained). It’s actually perfect, since the planned IWT-mini-outreaches in NZ and the islands this spring didn’t work out because of lack of available staff.

25.09.08 Forgiveness started to flow |
- David just came back from a reconciliation session with about 35 pastors from the region. He taught on “the role of a pastor in the society” and about “forgiveness”. The pastors - coming from different local churches and denominations as well as different tribes – were very open to the message. Many prayers went up and forgiveness started to flow. These sessions are very vital in the battle to reconcile the hostile tribes, who have been fighting for so long.

23.09.08 Visited by sponsor |
- During the summer month’s we had various visitor groups as guests. One team came to help us with the building for the new feeding program in Kotodesh. Some visitors could see their sponsored children and their families. Most of the children want their sponsors to visit. And when it finally happens, they are so surprised that they cannot say anything for the first few minutes.

23.09.08 Incredible changes by discipleship |
- This past month 25 members of our church completed their 8 month discipleship course and graduated at a special ceremony. Eight months ago they went on their encounter weekend, and now they are ready to be released in serving and ministry within and outside of the church. Fruit that remains! We have seen some incredible changes in our brothers and sisters in Christ, who come from extremely poor homes but are rich in their hearts.
