22.09.08 Prayer Request for Persecuted Christians |
 - Dear Prayer Warriors, These days the anti Christian activities are raising up in India like never before. The body of Christ is in tears facing drastic persecution. As of now there are about 100 pastors and believers were killed by Hindu activists. This persecution started on 23rd August when 5 Hindu babas (priests) where killed by a terrorist group called Vamsadhara. The Hindu fanatics accused Christians of these deaths and began a mass massacre of believers and Pastors.

10.09.08 Challenges in Chimoio |
 - It happens to be such a challenge to describe what every day life is like….. The questions, the problems, the people…, sicknesses - and death is very real, nearly daily. The conditions and the perception ?!! – My own subjective, of course … and the joy when everything goes well. We need God, it often means “walking on the water”.

10.09.08 Healings in Wau, Sudan |
 - Some experienced God returning their sight after prayer and others were healed miraculously of their stomach pain, whereas others finally experienced peace in their homes. Others were set free of witchcraft (that never helped them as Jesus does), others appreciated their children learning in the church and receiving food at the same time.

04.09.08 Exciting summer at Challenge Farm |
 - This summer was exciting at Challenge Farm. Seeing the new kids happily living at the farm is incredible. They love to learn about God. We talked about God’s plan and purposes for their lives. Our core verse was Numbers 14:21 “But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be fi lled with the glory of the LORD.”

13.08.08 Where is God in all of that? |
 - This part of the country is beautiful, the people are as well – but still... ! Where is God in all of that? Is His will, His word still important? We won’t go into detail, but a lot of prayer is necessary. We are seeing much frustration, resignation, rebellion, hurt and anger. Coming from outside, like we do now, we probably even notice it more, but it is difficult to offer miracle solutions when one does not know all the details.
