April 2006 - Discovering Hidden Treasures
(Using missionaries as gifts to the local church)

As I reflect upon my life, I am grateful to many people who have profoundly impacted me through sermons, books, discussions, or simply by observing their lifestyle and attitudes.  Malcolm Smith, Dr. Wesley Duewel, Dr. Günter Krallmann, Reinhard Bonnke, Dr. Mark Rutland, Dr. Mark Buntain, Loren Cunningham, Ross Paterson, and Doug Gehman rank among many others whom I greatly respect.  These men have different ministries, priorities and methodologies, but they all have this in common:  they are missionaries. schatzkiste 1 klein.jpg
Working cross culturally has given them a richness of experience, insight and a unique understanding of the Scriptures and people.  They have developed skills which are an invaluable asset to churches in any culture.  Missionaries who have spent time confronting the human and demonic in ungodly cultures can become more sensitive to such influences that try to invade Godly lives. This is true of most successful long term missionaries I know.

This child didn’t eat any food, fruit in her home. Because of her parents was not aware of nutritious food. After coming to our Daycare centre, our staff’s care and concerned with this child, she has slowly started to eat food and fruits. Her father was doubted a lot to send his child to our daycare centre, but he see a complete change in his child’s life.  Now, he is not worrying about his child by seeing our care and compassion for each and every child here.
As a family they are so happy to send their child to our daycare centre.
Please pray that, this child will grow in God’s wisdom.

March 2006 - Finding Lost Pearls
She was almost beside herself! The pearl in her ring had come loose and fallen out while she was washing her hands!  She couldn’t loose it, it was her special ring!  My daughter was so relieved when she found the pearl and put it in a safe place.  When I brought the repaired ring back to her, her face shone with joy as she put it back on her finger.

When I read the parable of the pearl of great value (Matt 13:45, 46), the image of the joy in her face at the recovery of her special pearl ring returns to me.  Of course, there is no real comparison, but it is a point of personal contact.  Actually there is no real comparison between a pearl of any kind, and the discovery of the Kingdom of God!  The issue (as I see it) is:  the businessman who sold all that he had in order to get the pearl of great value.
