- I am Renate Fast, 29 years old and have been living in Germany for 20 years. I was born in Kaukasus, Russia, near by the Black Sea. As a child I loved to read books about missionaries and wrote letters to different one of them. I wanted to become a missionary in Brasil when I would grow up.

- Many people in Central Asia have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ. My vision is to make Christ known among the nations and to reach unreached people by training and educating believers who will then go to these people. My first steps will be to go myself and live among unreached people groups in Asia and get to know the language and culture.

- Our vision for Brasil is to work with families at risk in the favela background. We want to break the circle of violence and dispair. We want to bring those families in touch with the love of God and encourage them to become responsible parents and christians. Our goal on the longrun is to build up a kind of familycenter to offer education to make a better future possible for this families.

23.10.08 Found a safe home |

- Everlyne was brought to us in July by a Kenyan social worker who found her on the streets of Kakuma, a very large refugee area in Northern Kenya. She had run from Kitale because of abuse. The social worker knew about Challenge Farm and felt she would be safe with us. Everlyne went from a girl who was frightened and unwilling to smile to a girl that has found a safe home and is full of joy.

22.10.08 Attract attention for Jesus |

- Another highlight during this fall was the Jogibear team from Duesseldorf. For one week we (our kid’s workers) went every afternoon with them to the streets in different districts. We were not the only ones amazed that, by their special way of attracting children through music, games, challenges and funny treats, sometimes up to 70-80 children, teenagers and adults gathered – neighbours and the police were alerted.
