IN.touch serves the unreached people groups, especially the original inhabitants through:
- care of nursery school children
- medicine, before and after care
- development of sources of income
- other community development projects
Until 2007, our main mission was to enable a good start in life for children from leper colonies through a day care centre. They learnt to read and write, came to know Jesus, and received nourishing meals. We also helped in the fight against leprosy (prevention) and in the medical treatment of wounds (after care).

From 2008 onwards, in Kerala, we will be running a nursery school in a Paniyan village in order to give a good start in life to the children. Furthermore, the gospel will be shared and churches will be set up.
In Tamil-Nadu, a workshop will be held in April with the aim of identifying the real needs of the Irula people so that we can offer the appropriate help to this people group. There are possibilities for education in nursery schools and day schools nearby, but this has to be confirmed.
In Karantaka, we will then see if it is possible to start a Christian school on the border of the Irula region.
