Eberhard and Hildegard Wirth were born in Oberberg. As a hobby workman Eberhard has already supported many ministries at home and abroad, for example as a tiler with YWAM in Namibia, as a roofer and painter in the Light & Power Centre in Kenya as well as with excarvation work for drainage ditches for a guest house in Norway. During the latest building project at the Globe Europe Centre in Hamminkeln he workd as the site manager for almost a year.
The situation:
Many missionary go to a foreign country to serve the people there with their gifts as pastors, teachers, medical personnel, social workers or administrators. In doing so, they often are confronted with the new building, extensions or reconstruction of buildings, institutions and projects in order to make a way for the Good News of Jesus Christ.
The vison of "Workmen for Jesus" is to support Globe Europe Missionaries in practical ways so that they can dedicate themselves to their ministry as quickly as possible.
What we need are:
* faithful people who pray for us regularly * supporters who back us up financially in our ministry (for flights, stays, building materials) * voluntary helpers whom God has given craftsman's talents and who can be available for short-term missions trips at home and abroad; team-work is required. | |
