Antioch Missions-Chinese Church Support Ministries (AM-CCSM) was founded by Ross Paterson, our International Director, in 1986. He received a personal call to serve the Chinese people whilst studying at Cambridge University. After graduation , he spent 10 years as a missionary in Taiwan, preaching in many Christian churches, leading Operation Mobilisation-style village gospel teams and working in Christian unions in Universities and Colleges.
Ross next spent 4 years working as China Coordinator for the Overseas Missionary Fellowship (formerly China Inland Mission), pioneering the UK China Programme. He also had substantial contact with other Christian organizations working in China.
In 1982 Ross founded and now directs Derek Prince Ministries - China and Mongolia which is involved in radio, tape and literature ministries in China and Mongolia.
AM-CCSM was set up in 1986 to embrace all that God was calling us to do in China. We have been able to branch into many ministries for China. We feel that since there is a partially open door into China today we need diligently to serve the Chinese Church whilst we can.
