I was born in 1965 in Olten, Switzerland and grew up in Trimbach.
In 1981, during my time in French part of Switzerland, I realized that I needed Jesus in my life and for that reason I accepted his loving proposal. That brought changes to my life. Instead of simply fulfilling my own wishes, I am trying to put God’s ingenious plan for my life into action.
I did my training to become a nurse and then worked for quite a few years in this career. Next to my interest in Israel, by and by an interest in the happenings of communistic countries continued to grow. I read a lot about this and especially about the persecution of Christians. More and more I began to concentrate all my research on a specific land: Romania. As soon as it was possible, I began helping to collect aid materials and load them into trucks or railroad cars. I personally went to Romania for my first in 1995 and through that had direct contact to the country and people. My love grew through the experience even more. In the year 2000, I departed to Romania for a longer time. I planned to go for one year, but it ended up being a little more than two years.
Back in Switzerland, I studied to become a “heilpraktikerin CgH,” a natural health practitioner, from a Christian perspective. This education along with other courses that I took, gave me the necessary foundation to once again be active in Romania and more concretely put into practice what was on my heart.
Through personal contact with women, individually or in groups, I would like to share my knowledge as a Christian heilpraktikerin with them and motivate them to implement what they’ve learned at home in their families, in their villages, and in the church. My main subjects should be “using healing plants” and “nursing at home”. There are also further topics that may become important over time: i.e. Hygiene, Nutrition, etc. Likewise, some other concerns on my heart are prayer for and with the sick but also in general for Romania, as well as seeing God praised and worshiped by myself and others.
Goals of my work in Romania are: - To show women, how good God is and ingeniously HE created us, humans, as well as the whole of creation. I want to tell them about His great love for us and about how HE wants us to be doing well and that we can walk together with Him. - In addition to that, I want women to receive a new courage for life, self-confidence, and a positive perspective of life. Consequently, women should then contribute something to the holistic health of their family, their village, and their church with their corresponding capabilities and gifts. - Through prayer and practical living to contribute in such a way that from God’s perspective a positive change occurs there.
I will only be able to accomplish this if I succeed in living in a close relationship to God and I time and again listen to His voice, be obedient to Him, recognize His leading and guiding, and remain under His blessings. For that, I constantly need people on my side to support me through prayer, mentally, and also financially.
