The charitable association
“ARCA DAS CRIANÇAS” is a Christian initiative founded 1999 in Jardim Noronha, a district of “Capeli do Socorro” in the Southern Part of Sao Paulo, a city with 21 Million inhabitants, in order to care for the local population.
The Swiss and Brazilian
“ARCA DAS CRIANÇAS” staff cares for 280 needy children and youth every week aiming to protect them of an empty and hopeless life on the streets.
“ARCA DAS CRIANÇAS” offers children and youth a true alternative to the negative influences they are being exposed to in their environment. The ARCA – Team helps them develop a healthy personality and teaches them how to avoid drugs, alcohol, prostitution and crime.
“ARCA DAS CRIANÇAS” supports those children and youth whose personal, psychological and social development is at risk by teaching and nurturing them holistically (spiritually, mentally, physically, emotionally) and providing a future perspective.
